Bob Bledsoes legacy keeps growing. The Erie softball coach was honored by the Sportswomen of Colorado this past Sunday in Denver. At their 36th annual awards ceremony, Bledsoe was named the 2009 Coach of the Year.

Losing hurt badly enough for the Broomfield boys basketball on Friday night. It`s the way the Eagles lost, though, that will most likely leave a sour taste in their mouths for some time to come. After never trailing in the second half, the Eagles fell 68-63 in overtime against Pueblo East in the Class 4A state quarterfinals at the Colorado School of Mines.
