A Taste of Colorado celebrates summer Sept. 3-6
Since 1983, A Taste of Colorado has packed happy revelers into Civic Center Park, all determined to celebrate the last remnants of summer. Downtown’s annual Labor Day weekend bash offers free admission to access more than 50 food vendors, 270 artisans’ booths and a carnival. Five stages offer complimentary entertainment, including fun, nationally known, nostalgia-inducing music acts. With the sights, sounds, aromas and flavors, it’s a virtual picnic…with a half-a-million people.

2010 Denver Parade of Homes: free admission to 58 houses Aug. 14-Sept. 6
For years, the annual Denver Parade of Homes was a select showcase of multi-million-dollar houses with private theatres, wine cellars, professional kitchens and a host of other wish-list amenities. Attendees paid to wander through new homes within a single, upscale subdivision—and even if they weren’t going to buy, they got great decorating ideas. In 2010, 58 show homes ranging from about $200,000 to $6 million are open for inspection from Aug. 14-Sept. 6 throughout the city...at no charge.

2010 Denver Broncos: Hello, Tim Tebow

King Tut's golden treasures shine in Denver from June 29, 2010-Jan. 9, 2011
