When to Go
If you want to take your feast home, Queen of Sheba asks that you call 45 minutes ahead.
Know Before You Go
Approach from the east to avoid the median in the middle of Colfax.
Where to Sit
Traditional basket tables, just big enough to fit the platter of food, sit at the front of the restaurant and in a small private room near the back.
What to Drink
Ethiopian honey wine is sometimes available, but if that's too sweet for you, order a Mamba, a giant African beer, or some Ethiopian coffee.

We've eaten Ethiopian food in Addis, Auxum, and other places in Ethiopia and have eaten at every Ethiopian rstaurant in Denver/Aurora save for two that we will eventually get to. We keep coming back to Queen of Sheba. It's about as authentic as you can get and Zewditu has the best injera. Service is excellent, the prices are way reasonable, and the atmosphere is enough like being back there so if I just close my eyes, smell the aromas, and listen to the music and hubbub in the kitchen, I could almost....
Pros: Everything
Cons: ???

I love this hole in the wall eatery. Everything from its inspired and daring menu to its wonderful staff/owner/cook, I look forward to every meal I have here. The portion sizes are generous and well priced, the wine is inexpensive and complimentary, and the variety of menu items are alway cooked to a perfection and unmatched in other local eateries. While I hope it stays quiet enough for me to always get great service and a table, I hope that others get to experience this wonderful restaruant. The "Queen" definitely keeps it real and I feel lucky to call this my local favorite.
Pros: Wondeful food
Cons: Expect to wait for your food--definitely worth it though!
